Quiet, clean and comfortable place to study. Vending machine with custom smoothies, enough plugs and light. It makes the perfect place to read or study. The opening hours are very accommodating.

The library is usually calm and quiet. It has a vast collection of books and reliable computer access. The on-site cafeteria also enhances the overall library experience.

Actual library is pleasant however the campus support team/ staff are rude and disrespectful . They show aggravation and speak as if In a position of superiority. Despite agreeing with their concerns they discussed me with utter respect they jumped straight to threatening to involve the police in an attempt to their abuse their power. They escalate situations and don’t treat any matters on hand with kindness or respect. They harass certain students and I’ve eye witnessed their harassment and disrespect specially on minors. As an established university they claim to be, Deakins choice of hiring staff is pathetic and highly questionable.

It’s super cool to see old books in the Digital age, their smell and texture is qualia. The vibe and design at Deakin Uni Library is cool. Just take a stroll inside you’ll be surprised. Don’t need to be a uni student either.
