Aldi. Good, similar. And by that I mean reliable, trustworthy no matter which store you enter. This store included: products you know and want, prices you hope for, the wonderment that is the middle aisle, quite, clean, orderly, and a bit of a game at the end hoping you catch a freshly opened checkout. I only had two items so when checkout three opened when I rocked up, I stood still waiting for the self service to open. Parking can be challenging as are a lot of such things on Shannon Ave. Yeh good store.

What's going on with supermarkets these days !! Never enough staff. And the floor staff are not to blame. It's clearly just that they don't staff their stores to service their customers. They expect us to service our own shopping, to save them money on staffing their store. And the reason given is that they are understaffed because someone called in sick. So are staff over worked?Back in the day replacement staff would be called in, so I guess they don't have extra staff or is it that they don't want to pay staff call in rates to cover the late notice, or thay they save money by short staffing altogether? Either way it's only getting worse, & with the season ahead of us, won't that be jolly, when they can't get it right on a regular Monday afternoon. Just dropped into Aldi Geelong West to collect a handful of things & the two staffed checkouts had lines of customers with trolley's full. Why should I have to put my own items thru when I don't work there & don't get a discount for saving their staffing issues. Yes, I easily could do it, but I can also see that the day we all put thru our own shopping will be the day no staff will ever be instore. Say goodbye to those jobs too, along with becoming your own personal checkout monitor whether you like it or not. How about do better, not just different !!

I don't know which Aldi this is referring to, but I love all aldi stores. They're supposed to all be laid out the same, but that's a lie! However they're not hard to navigate. I love that many stores now have self serve checkouts, just wish they'd allocate at least 1 for using cash!

Just the usual Aldi like everywhere else. I still have to get certain things from Coles. Expect to always be asked for your bag to be checked, even if it's an empty shopping bag lol.
