Barwon Edge

I am in love with this place. One of my friend gave me the idea to go here and the experience was the best. The environment is so nice and it feels so good to spend time here. They have place both for breakfast and lunch. Th good thing is if you wanna have breakfast, you go to the corner and the lunch is served at other side of the area.

I discovered BE café about two months ago and it has quickly become my go-to spot. This week they launched a new menu and it’s just amazing, so far I’ve tried the Nourish Bowl, Turkish Eggs, and French Toast, and honestly it’s hard to say what’s best because everything is delicious 😍. I’m planning to try it all! Great coffee, relaxed atmosphere, and super friendly staff. Perfect spot by the river for breakfast, coffee, or a weekend with family (and even the doggos 🐶).

We had such a wonderful time at Barwon Edge in Newtown. It’s such a beautiful and relaxing place to spend a day with family and friends. The atmosphere is calm and welcoming, with lovely views that make you instantly unwind. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, making us feel comfortable from the moment we arrived. The food was absolutely delicious — fresh, well-presented, and full of flavour. We also really enjoyed the live music, which added the perfect touch to the whole experience. One of the best parts is the surrounding area. There’s a fantastic walking and bike trail nearby, perfect for a peaceful stroll or ride. The swings and slides kept the kids entertained, making it a fun outing for the whole family. Overall, Barwon Edge is a fantastic spot for a relaxing meal and quality family time. We’ll definitely be back! 🌿✨

Each time I have been here the service has been great with plenty of tasty beverages and food on offer. Located along the Barwon River, an ideal location if using the path along the river. Good seating inside and out. Recommended if in the area.

We had our wedding at Barwon Edge and from the beginning we couldn’t fault them! Sarah, Charles and Katherine’s attention to detail, thoroughness and thoughtfulness was incredible. Thoughtful touches we didn’t even ask for like putting welcome drinks in our personalised stubby holders for canapé hour and the beautiful set up made the day for us! Barwon Edge took any worries out of the day for my husband and I! The service and staff were incredible, attentive, friendly and always kept everyone’s glasses topped up! Every request was met, they were one step ahead of us and our needs all night, drink almost empty?…new drink arrives! The food and wine package got heaps of compliments! Thank you Barwon Edge team, we appreciate everything!
