Wow - Moonah! What a beautiful experience. Wonderful, fresh menu and wine pairing, lagers, personal service and beautiful setting. Fortunate to dine on a nice weather day and were able to enjoy our starter and dessert on the balcony as well as enjoying the beautiful table by the window for the other 6-courses. Yes - it's expensive, but if you want a special experience, do yourself a favour.

Very peaceful and relaxing dining atmosphere. The restaurant and the surrounding views are just stunning. We enjoyed paired wines which we highly recommend. There were some fantastic wines in the mix. Such a well thought out menu with some impressive flavours!

An absolute dining pleasure. We have eaten at many of the awarded restaurants and this one deserves the accolades it has received. The setting is so special, sitting on the deck and entering a sensory paradise. Each dish perfectly presented with incredible blends of flavours. Matched wines perfectly paired. Asked “which dish was your favourite?” Answer “that would be unfair to each dish as they all were outstanding”. Fresh seafood matched with local vegetables and green condiments. The mussels in broth - I was in Portarlington. Crayfish on quinoa - oh my! Perfectly smoked pork with (tamed) feral plums- wow! The venison with walnut and cherry leaves- incredible. The desserts finished a very special experience. Did I say the wines were an exploration of a number of inventive new age wine makers. So good to see them featured and so perfectly matched with food. The staff were so engaged and such a pleasure to have the maestro chef preparing the experience around us. We will place this one a revisit for special occasions

Great service! Went there last August to celebrate a friend’s birthday. Have to modify my schedule a few times due to changing of the guests. Chef and manager were super sweet and patient. Food is simply amazing. I love their “farm to table” concept as it did delivery a great multi-course dining experience to me. The most amazing one I still remember is dessert with sliced truffle, which blowed my mind as I’ve never seen such a great mixture of truffle with sweets. Besides, these courses are not only delicious but also a great sight. They also provided great alternatives to meet my guest’s dietary requirements. I would also recommend their non-alcoholic pairings, most of them are naturally fermented. Didn’t take pics of them but definitely worth trying.

Wonderful meal, setting, atmosphere and service. Every detail considered from the plating a very Japanese aesthetic, to the wonderful flowers the artwork on the walls and of course the food the ultimate celebration complete with novel half wine pairings.
