My wife and I purchased an older home in Barwon Heads in 2010 and used it on a part time basis for a number of years. Eventually we decided to upgrade our weekend home and relocate from Melbourne. After spending a number of months looking at the possibility of renovating our home at Barwon Heads we finally decided that we didn't want to continue to compromise the final result on an ever increasing budget so we took another tack. We looked at a number of display homes and talked to local residents about local builders. Eventually we found Pivot Homes, a local custom home builder that demonstrated the quality and services that we were looking for. My wife and I have worked in the design and construction industry on a range of projects for a number of years and worked with Pivot Homes on the design and subsequent construction of our home. We found the entire Pivot company to be extremely easy to deal with, approachable and professional. They listened to our needs, adapted, suggested and implemented our design. Communication was excellent- our supervisor Matt B was well organised and very friendly and helpful-there was hardly a day when some tradie wasn't there. The builders were terrific- keeping the site clean and doing a great job. Chloe was extremely helpful and we thank her daily for THAT window! Any queries we had were quickly answered, Matt C keeping us in the loop re prices. His attention to detail was incredible. We love our house and would (and do) recommend this company if you are planning to build.
