Rose Garden Motel

What a surprise! We were tired looking for a simple clean room to sleep and shower before boarding the Spirit to return toTassie after our camping holiday. This Motel was like visiting a family friends home, very clean and comfortable room, large comfy bed and bathroom. The wonderful owner has maintained this gem of a motel perfectly. Has everything you could want whether you are a couple or a family. She was so happy to answer any questions we had and yes we did win a meat tray at the nearby RSL where we went for dinner. This will now be our stopover when we travel on The Spirit of Tasmania. Thankyou for your hospitality.

The Rose Garden Motel is from the era where breakfast was served through a hatch at the front door. It certainly hasn't been completely locked in that 90s time theme, but there are still elements that are still there. The room is super clean and well maintained, with all the amenities you would expect. The bed very comfortable, with ample pillows for sitting up watching TV. The split system worked well for those cold winter nights. The bathroom was extremely clean with plenty of towels. Was surprise with the size of the shower, so big that 3 people could be accommodated. Would note that the toilet seat is due for a replacement. Would also add the parking space is super wide very unusual for motels, this makes removing bags very easy. Great place with ample room and very close to the CBD, staff very helpful and friendly.

Slightly dated but very clean, quiet and spacious room with a very comfortable king bed for a very reasonable price. Outlook over, and access to, the pool and lawn area was lovely. Would definitely stay again

Charming older style motel. Rooms are a good size very neat and clean. Bathroom has large shower bay and again everything kept in good order. Host is just lovely.

Great place. Convenient location. Staff were super nice. Room was clean and spacious. Highly recommend.
