Quest Geelong Central

I went to Quest Geelong Central with high expectations, the hotel reviews couldn't be better. What could possibly go wrong? The answer, almost everything. I booked a one bedroom apartment and was given a studio. The studio is half the size, with a minute balcony, communal laundry and rock hard bed. I spoke to the hotel to get the situation rectified and the Quest was very unhelpful. This is the first hotel where I have needed to talk with reception about a booking issue. Their response was "speak to your booking agent", taking no ownership of the problem. Given that my reservation was for four nights and the room was not what I had reserved and paid for, and this was topped off by a night of very poor sleep and in a very hard bed, I left three days early. A refund was neither offered nor facilitated by Quest. My relaxing family getaway has cost me more money than was necessary and added a sore back. I have never before checked out of a hotel early. On the upside there were two complimentary Tim Tams.

We loved our girls’ weekend getaway at Quest Geelong Central! Our 3-bedroom apartment was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped—perfect for a relaxing stay. The staff were friendly and provided excellent service throughout. We especially appreciated the complimentary transfers to and from Geelong Station, which made everything so easy. Highly recommend for a convenient and enjoyable stay in Geelong!

What a fantastic team, and great facility. We booked last minute as it was pet friendly and our farm stay was engulfed in bush fire smoke, so we turned up with our border collie, and apparently we missed the button for bringing a dog. No problem, the staff quickly dog proofed the room and made us welcome. The roof deck is amazing and there is a guest lounge up there too. Highly recommend

We have only just arrived, but I couldn’t help but leave feedback as I am already very impressed. We are travelling with our two dogs, and it’s wonderful to stay at such a genuinely dog-friendly hotel. From the very first contact, the service has been exceptional. Greg was incredibly helpful and welcoming, especially with our last-minute booking. When we called back, Polly assisted us with the booking and provided friendly, efficient, and thoughtful service. I have worked in the hotel industry for over 10 years, and great service really stands out. Greg and the team truly deserve recognition. Our first impressions of the hotel and facilities are a big wow. Well done to Greg, we’re very happy to be staying here tonight and are really looking forward to the rest of our stay 🐾😊

Staff were very friendly and accommodating. Rooms are spacious and clean. The rooftop bbq area is definitely worth a look and experience. The views are amazing!
