Dans Reserve

3 stars as the boat ramp isn't that great. It's listed as a boat ramp on the maritime interactive map however its 5 knots along Thompson Creek. Suitable for non powered vessels, canoes-kayaks, etc

You can kayak/ canoe for about 1km either up or downstream from Dan's Reserve jetty and then access is blocked by private causeways across Thompsons creek. Otherwise, there's plenty of birdlife and serenity to enjoy. There are no toilets or bins at Dan's Reserve ;certainly a toilet would help.

Been going here since I was a child. Was five star's but since all the new developments people dump their rubbish at the place. So 😢
