Estia Health Grovedale

I want to shout out to the Estia Grovedale team. It is such a wonderful team! Everyone works like a team! From the manager, client service officer, reception/admin staff, kitchen/ food management, cleaners hairdressers and most of all the carers/nursing staff and lifestyle workers. My beautiful partner has been a resident in the Otway unit for nearly two years. It's been an emotional rollercoaster of a journey but the care and genuine affection we've both been shown has been incredible. The staff have facilitated and participated in our special occassions like birthdays and anniversaries. The most memorable one being our 40th Anniversary. The staff put on a suprise celebration in my partner's room, with a set dining table for 2, red roses and gifts and decorations. The carers and nurses were so lovely and management and reception staff came to give their well wishes to us. It was amazing. I can't thank you all enough for the support and care you give to my partner and also to me everyday. I am genuinely so appreciative, have been since day one. With sincere gratitude from Henri and Eileen.

From the moment I entered the welcoming reception space at Estia Grovedale, heard the laughter and immense comradery of the staff as well as the attentiveness of the administrative team I knew I had chosen the right care facility. The team have been proactive in ensuring my uncle is always safe and secure, comfortable and warm! To see his face light up when his birthday was celebrated by the Estia team truly was magical. A huge thank you to all who have helped make this transition from independent living to supportive care in a mindful and caring manner, has been a gift to his family.

Just wanting to share my heartfelt thanks to all the staff at Estia grovedale, my wonderful Dad Tony spent the last six months of his life surrounded by the caring, attentive staff there. Dad passed away on Thursday, he died with dignity and peace thanks to all of you. When Dad went into the palliative stage a butterfly picture was placed on his bedroom door, the staff bought in a tea trolley with kettle, tea, coffee and sandwiches etc for our family to use while we said our goodbyes. Then today a gorgeous bunch of flowers was delivered to Mum, expressing our shared loss, Dad made an impression on everyone and the staff at Estia loved him as much as we do. The staff have been amazing. Kind and compassionate. The facility has put so much thought into making the clients comfortable to suit their needs . The gardens are lovely to take my dad for walks around. The food is great too , Freshly made each day . Dad eats it all . The staff are very considerate to the family and happy to assist in any requirements. Lyn and Kiren have been so supportive too .

Our Mum transferred to Estia Grovedale in February. Estia provide holistic resident care. The resident and family are included in every point of care. They provide individualised, resident centred care. You are updated when there are changes in any part of the care plan. You know exactly what is going on with all your loved ones care. Excellent communication. Nothing is too much trouble. The difference in our Mum has been so great, attributed to the care she is receiving everyday. Thankyou Estia for all that you do. We are so thankful. Hello Team Estia, We would like to say a big thankyou for making Mum's birthday a very memorable occasion. Mum looked so lovely and was very bright when we came on Sunday to collect her for our family celebration at the Sandstone. Capturing these moments is so precious to us. Today, on Mums birthday I was contacted about when I was coming to sing Happy Birthday and cut the cake. Another beautiful moment was experienced when I arrived after work and the staff sang Happy Birthday, thankyou so much. The cheesecake was so special. The staff let me take a piece home to enjoy, absolutely delicious. Thankyou again, team Estia make what was once impossible, so very possible. Nothing is ever too much trouble. We are so thankful everyday that we found Estia to care for our Mum. Kimberley and Cameron xxx
