Specsavers Optometrists & Audiology - Leopold

I rang specsavers this afternoon and the arm of my frames (that I wear everyday) had snapped and I wasn’t sure what to do. They asked me to come in so they could have a better look and were able to offer me a replacement/temporary arm for free! They weren’t sure when it would get done however 5 minutes after leaving the plaza they rang and had fixed my glasses. My original frames were mimco and they weren’t sure able to find a frame that was spot on to the pattern of my frames!! Vi (trainee) & the team were so attentive and friendly and did a great job at helping me through the stress and chaos! Thanks Ladies! Happy New year! 🥳

Rory was so amazing and helpful! I’m on holiday at the moment and stupidly forgot to pack my contact lenses. Rory was able to help me by offering a trial pair of contacts which would last 5 days and also provided a discount code for me to order more lenses. She also offered to tighten my glasses as they were a little loose, thank you for the help! It’s very appreciated

A very positive experience. I was warmly greeted by Beth and directed to the waiting area. Shortly after i had the eye health check. I then saw Jack the Optometrist. He was very patient and friendly. He discussed the health of my eyes and what adjustments could be made to help my reading. Jack then introduced me to Elle, who was great at explaining the options for my new lenses. She also helped me choose the frames which i loved and also called on Beth and Holly for a second opinion in choosing between two styles. I was very happy with the service and the friendly attention of the staff.

Excellent service and very friendly and caring staff at Specsavers Leopold! I am always very happy to see everyone especially Michael the Optometrist for my yearly check up and buy a new pair of glasses. The variety and designs are amazing.

The optometrist was great however the rest of my experience is horrible. Purchased a pair of prescription glasses and a pair of prescription sunglasses. When the glasses arrived the prescription sunglasses were transition glasses which I did not ask for and the sales rep made me feel that it was my fault. The prescription glasses were a little unsymmetrical on my face so the sales rep bent the frames but only really cared was if I could see the coles signs and not if the glasses fit my face correctly. Had to go back again as due to sales rep bending the frames which made me feel like I was looking through thick glass like coke bottles which was causing a weird sensation. Explained this to sales rep and they just looked at me like I was crazy and telling me it was my prescription, however my prescription hasn't changed.They fixed them a little bit but then the arm was to tight and felt that when I moved the arm the frame was going to break (thankfully the lovely staff at Belmont fixed the problems and knew exactly what I was talking about and knew how to fix the issue). Finally my new prescription sunglasses arrived and they have transition polorised lenses which I didn't want...will have to get fixed again. Other family members also had same experience asked for thinned down lenses and got coke bottle lenses then the sales rep blamed them and advised that was what they asked for. Other family member didn't want multifocal glasses and got multifocal glasses. Have spoken to store manager who advised it was due to lack of training but felt like the store manager didn't take complaints seriously and have also already put in feedback form. Leopold seem to be lacking training, empathy and providing a clear outcome of what you are paying for as they brush over the major and minor details.
