Don’t get me wrong I love this stores and the staff are a delight but what do the management or corporate overlords have against rostering or employing staff? I’ll often only come in for 1 or 2 items and yet you constantly have to wait for ages because there’s only ever 1-2 people working registers on any given day. Lined up a quarter of the way down the aisle when I’ve only got a carton of milk and it turns into a 20-30 minute ordeal. I’ve worked in retail myself so I’m aware they just don’t like to pay people to be there but c’mon.

All Aldis are the same but they are good and are different, and this one is same same but good, different. Like, its up the back of Newcomb Village. Clean, neat, orderly. No self service checkouts as of Feb. 2025 but I'm not fully sold on them because there is a kind of game, a rush, to be heading to a checkout and you hear that a new aisles is open, green light flashing, you're suddenly first in line OR better, you're second but someone with 120 items lets you go ahead because you've (me) only have 7 packets of Moser Roth 70% Cacao.

Friendly, helpful staff. Many items are cheaper than other supermarkets, special items best bought on the day, as stock sold out a couple days later. Store was cleaned and maintained, all shells were stocked.

Could do with a renovation and the trolley bay is always unusable due to broken token returns and baby buckles are all cut off. The poor staff look miserable perhaps something to boost there moral given all the challenges they have at this particular store

For the first time, I was excited to shop today from Aldi, Newcomb S/C, Bellarine Hwy, Newcomb VIC 3219 today 7th April 2025 precisely at 14:53 pm. The checkout operator today was very rude. His rudeness reached the degree rushing me through the counter even without looking that the previous customer didn't pay yet for his items. I had to apologize to the customer, which was obviously not my fault. So the operator had to un-scan my items all again and put them back, so the man can pay for his items. Then operator scanned my items, which is for him double jobs without even apologizing. Moreover to cover up his nasty mistake, he yelled and offended me to open my bag, which is disgusting in front of other customers. This young man was very rude and mean and requires thoroughly training. Never had such as nasty experiance with my shopping at all, made me so disappointed and I won't go there again. Hope the management will consider this staff actions to avoid such nasty move in the future.
