Happy Fillet Fish and Chips

We are new to the area and we thought we would give them a go. Omg our first impression was wow these guys are busy so they must be good. They are not good they are amazing. The chips are a nice fluffy crispy the potato cakes are pumpkin cakes were amazing. But the winner for us was the fish!! The batter was perfect and the fish was amazing. We have now found our new fish and chip shop. Next time I’m going to try a hamburger. So if you are looking for amazing fish and chips as this is the place to go to.

Ordered via Uber Eats. My crab sticks were only half cooked with the batter soggy as. Same story with the flake, the chips weren't any better, soggy and under-salted. Apparently the burger and souvlaki were ok but the core stuff was junk.

Best Fish n Chips around. I travel 30 odd kms just to get them.

These guys make a really good burger with the lot. I think the mince may have been sausage mince, but I didn't mind - the flavours were right. It was weighty and wasn't greasy, which is a bonus. Definitely check out their items next time you're in Grovedale and in need of a feed.
