Noodle Box Geelong

I always looked forward to eating at Noodlebox and got the same meal each time. (Or a slight variation) It was usually crispy chicken with fried rice and slaw. The containers they serve it in seem to change quite often and the change was always to something smaller. (When purchased during lunch, It used to leave me extremely full well into dinner time, but no longer) The quality of the chicken has dropped as well, almost to the same of that at an Asian buffet that you find at any shopping centre. I also found two pieces of gristle that turned me off to the whole meal. I'm disappointed as this was my favorite Asian restaurant chain, but I don't think I'll be returning again after the decline in quality and size from my last three purchases.

I rarely leave reviews, especially negative ones, but this experience was disappointing enough that I felt it was worth sharing. I ordered a meal pack with noodles and dim sums. Unfortunately, the noodles had very little vegetables in them — and the very few pieces of bok choy and cabbage were cut up extremely tiny — and the meat/seafood portion was also quite limited (around two prawns, one beef piece, two chicken pieces and a few pork pieces). I understand that businesses need to manage costs, but the actual meal looked very different from what was shown in the pictures, which made it feel misleading. I hope this feedback is taken constructively, as improving the consistency between the photos and the actual serving would help manage customer expectations. I don’t usually leave reviews, but I thought it was worth mentioning in this case.

I have this 2-3 times a week and my one year old loves it however a new staff member took my order of noodles, then asked if I wanted rice to which I confirmed TWICE that no, I was after the egg noodles. He then repeated my order back to me and I thought no more of it. Just opened a bowl of rice so I called to ask why and the boy who served me apologised but it was more of an arrogant brush off. He even said he’s just seen the button which said he could have actually selected noodles instead. Beyond pissed he read my order back to me knowing full well I was going to be given rice but the audacity to just say he would put it through right next time. It doesn’t help now when Ive got a one year old who eats noodles not rice - dont usually mention the single mum thing but this is my go to as it’s one less hassle for the night. Won’t be back after that - not the owners fault I adore them they are all so sweet but that boy needs a serious attitude change. Already searching for somewhere new I can actually get what I paid for oh and dinner for my son. Not happy.

Very nice Food and friendly staff .. Definitely my goto shop for dumplings and noodles

Service is always great and food tastes amazing. Would highly recommend for an easy lunch with great deals, especially if you come here with two or more people spring rolls
