The Local Eatery Cafe, Bar & Restaurant

This one was a tough review to write because there were both some really positive and some not so great aspects. To start with the positives, the chicken tenders were absolutely sensational. However, they didn’t come with any sauce, which we found a bit strange. I went and asked the lovely lady of Indian appearance, who was very helpful and quickly brought some out for us. My partner had the Mexican parmigiana, which was nice and tasted delicious, but it didn’t come with any guacamole or sour cream, which would have really complemented the dish. I ordered the beef burrito. It did include guacamole and sour cream (possibly inside rather than on the side), but unfortunately, the burrito itself was so soft and soggy that I couldn’t pick it up to eat like a normal burrito. I had to use a knife and fork because it would have just fallen apart. I suspect the tortilla may have been undercooked, or the liquid to rice ratio was off, making it too wet. Three people at our table ordered using the QR code, and a few minutes later, two of us ordered at the counter. The meals came out at substantially different times, with more than a 15 minute wait between when our meals arrived and when the others on the table received theirs. The place has a great atmosphere overall, but it is extremely noisy, very loud indoors, and we couldn’t sit outside because it was too cold. Service was decent overall. All in all, it’s a good spot with great potential, just needs a few tweaks to bring it up to five stars.

This place always delivers the goods. The staff are legends and friendly, on the ball, and they make you feel welcome every time. The food is next level, fresh, tasty, and always served like they actually care. And the prices? Absolutely on point for the quality you get. Easily one of my favourite places to eat, no question.

Every-time we eat there it has been outstanding, lovely lovely service, the manager ( not sure if he is the owner) is amazing, he doesn’t write your order down he remembers everything. The food is beautiful, great flavours, not oily, Nothing seems to much to ask, the atmosphere is relaxing. 😎 we love it. Thank you 🤩
