Liked · The location of this property was absolutely ideal—just a few hundred meters from the stunning beach. The highlight of our stay was walking along the picturesque coastline, with the freedom to explore as far as we wanted. The sunsets were truly spectacular and unforgettable. We loved how close we were to great coffee spots and an array of fantastic places to enjoy lunch and dinner. Torquay itself is a hidden gem, offering a perfect blend of natural beauty and the conveniences of Coles and Woolworths. The unit was spacious enough to comfortably accommodate all five of us and had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The modern kitchen was a standout, equipped with everything imaginable to prepare meals—plus the most advanced toaster we’ve ever seen! The unit stayed pleasantly cool throughout the day, making it a perfect retreat after exploring. The area was quiet at night. The outdoor dining area was a lovely touch, ideal for enjoying a relaxed meal in the cool evening air. The bathroom and toilets were modern and well-maintained, adding to the overall comfort of the space. You can also easily park 3 cars on the property. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a wonderful getaway in Torquay! Disliked · The master bed was a bit softer than I prefer, but that’s just a personal preference. I couldn’t use my aluminium mokapot on the induction stove, which was a bit disappointing, but thankfully, a coffee plunger was provided, and it worked perfectly. Aside from these minor things, everything else about our stay was absolutely perfect.

We've been coming to Freshwater Creek Cottages since my eldest son was 2 years old (he's now 12). We always come in winter to be able to enjoy the fireplace and jumping in muddy puddles. From exploring the farm, feeding the animals, to helping out Farmer Phil, my boys always have the best fun and are never bored. It's our happy place.

We have been staying with Torquay Retreats for many years now and have found them to be very accommodating and responsive to any of our families needs. Their properties are fantastic, especially for large family groups of varying ages and love that they’re kid/pet friendly. Most of all, absolutely love Torquay and the central location of all their properties. Thanks ⭐️

Our stay at Freshwater Creek - Daisy Cottage was absolutely fantastic! The cottage itself was cozy, clean, and comfortable, with all the necessary amenities for a great stay. What really made our experience special was the opportunity to immerse ourselves in nature. The kids especially enjoyed walking with the lambs, feeding the pigs, and meeting kangaroos. The photos speak for themselves - they were absolutely delighted to play around the cottage area! Overall, I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing and unique getaway. We had such a wonderful time that we're already planning our next trip back!

Our stay was excellent and perfect for a qeeklong getaway, the property was well maintained with modern updates to the kitchen and bathroom and the property was one street from the beach and a 3 minute walk to the main Torquay shops.
