Very disappointing stay. The room was extremely dusty with spider webs everywhere. When we walked in, it didn’t feel fresh at all — it looked like the room had been closed for a long time and had a strange smell. The worst part was when my kids unfolded the bedsheets and we found visible marks on them. It was too late to contact reception, and since we were only staying one night before continuing our journey, we had no option but to manage. My husband had to spray the entire room to make sure the kids wouldn’t get bitten, and there was even a very large spider that died after the spray. Paying $200 for this room was absolutely not worth it. The hotel really needs to work on cleanliness and room maintenance. Very disappointed.

We needed a place to stay after seeing a gig in Torquay and balking at the prices to stay there. This motel is perfect for what we wanted as we literally just wanted to sleep. However the bathroom door did not stay closed which is awkward in a room of 3 and there was a musty smell to the room

This motel was so clean, it was a bit older but still lovely, the cleanliness was 10/10 would stay there again for sure, it was very affordable

Stayed overnight for business. The room was clean and large and had all the features I could want. Although the style of room is dated, it's no more than a country motel. The bistro meal next door was great, drive through coffee a few doors down, and a good Woolworths across the road. Maybe I will pack an extension lead next time - the power point may not be where you need it. I was pleasantly surprised, and will absolutely stay here again.
