Marshall Station Park and Ride

Sterile, orderly, with plenty of connective options: walk and bike paths, parking, and buses. This is first go here. Even though I only live a 30 minute walk away. I would have driven here and parked overnight however googs said overnight parking in any train station is inadvisible. I'm staying in Melbs to see a band and I can't be figged driving, parking. Plus, train rides are very cool and good. The ride to Melbourne is typically uneventful, even dull, in a nice, relaxing way. Back to the station. Good, sturdy construction with a same-same vibe as all the other new PTV stations you'll see everywhere. Considerate accommodation for folks in wheel chairs and those with prams and zimmers. I was here on a friendly Winter's day in August. So, no wind nor rain. Yet there is ample protections therefrom with an indoor waiting room or, outside, roofs and walls etc to curb the less delightful weathers. There are two drink dispensers. One was fully empty. No food to be had.

Nice and clean. Great easy access to Geelong and Melbourne. Lots of free parking. Trains run every 20 to 30 mins.

Easy to get to, convenient; just off Surfcoast Highway.

Ample car parking, lovely locals. Great for a weekend outing. Highly recommend platform 1 and the bus parking zone

My Grandson went there to catch the bus as the trains have been cancelled from Geelong to Wyndham Vale for works...
