Geelong Waterfront

LOVED LOVED LOVED the Geelong Waterfront! Something for everyone! Swimming pool for younger kids and a great area for BIG kids. Great driving/jumping off platform. Lots of families enjoying this fantastic waterfront. Cafe and icecream trucks there too. If we lived in Geelong we would definitely be there all the time!

Such a beautiful place to bring family to have a swim, grab a drink or even take a walk with your pet. This place is just few minutes walk from the botanical gardens. The weather was so beautiful with the wind which made it easier to walk along the shore. To take in the scenery I made sure to sit on a bench and admire it. I wish I could go for a swim but not regretting it too much.

definitely go on the ferris wheel, goes on for faster and longer than expected, super fun! and then there’s a truck doing warm donuts and shakes right next to it! walk down to the water front (fountain area) there’s a bar! with a great view from the balcony!

On a nice day, the beach and pool are amazing. There is a pool section for the kids and there is an enclosed beach area as. This area has a bit of seaweed floating around but not bad enough to stop people from swimming. The water looked good over the Melbourne Cup weekend. There are showers, a restaurant and bbq areas on the lawns nearby if you don't like sitting on the sand. Parking is a bit of a challenge but if you are patient enough you will find one. The ferrous wheel was fun too. Awesome views from the top.

The most serene and beautiful waterfront offers many attractions in area to its locals and tourists alike. The merry go round and the protected ocean pool are amazing. The parks and sculptures will entertain the kids and adults alike. Recommend to go during sunset
