Quite an unpleasant experience. My friends and I (one of them being a beginner) decided to go down for a hit of tennis on Monday evening. We were soon greeted by a gang of grumpy club members saying we lacked etiquette because we didn’t return a ball to another court. They continued to say that the ladies of the club were upset with us. They proceeded to usher our friend into the club to continue their talk on etiquette. Being our first time on the court, we unknowingly lacked etiquette, but they knowingly lacked common courtesy and decency. Hath no respect for thy fellow man, Highton Tennis Club? It’ll be a long time before I don my tennis briefs again.
