The last bastion of live music in Geelong, really 💔 Great staff, a billiards table, but the bandroom is absolutely the star of the show. I've been to some fantastic gigs here over the years - attached photos are from up & comers 'Bigfoot Sighting' that I saw recently.

If you’re in Geelong and you haven’t tried the Meat Lovers Parma at Barwon Club, what are you even doing?! Seriously, they’ve absolutely nailed it! This parma is like if the Avengers decided to unite goodies from all the best pizzas into one glorious chicken schnitzel. The flavor is off the charts! It’s like a party in my mouth, and everyone’s invited — crispy chicken, savory meats, and a cheesy blanket that would make a toddler swoon. While other pubs are busy serving their “average at best” parmas, Barwon Club just raised the bar to the moon. Every bite is a reminder of why I love parmas — pure comfort food bliss. It's the kind of dish that could make a rainy day feel like a sunny road trip. So, treat yourself to a Meat Lovers Parma; it’s a game-changer! Go ahead, thank me later. 🍗🎉

Went up to watch a couple of bands there. I stopped in after work just to get bearings on where they were, food, drinks etc. The bar lady was kind and helpful. When I got up there I caught up with some other fans staying at the same caravan park (which the club was only 500m stroll). The band room itself isn't huge (maybe 150 capacity). Little pricey for beers. They also do a feed there. Now I know where it is, if I'm down in Melbourne I'll go there again to see other bands

Charming Lunch Spot in Geelong We stopped at the Barwon Club Hotel for lunch and couldn’t have been happier. The atmosphere was quiet and relaxing, the mains were beautifully presented, cocktails were excellent, and the staff were wonderfully friendly. The menu even includes vegan options. We’d definitely come back next time we’re in Geelong—highly recommend!

Great venue for live bands and nice food and staff. The only downside though is that two of the toilets didn't have locks that worked and the floor was wet. So I would get better locks that actually work and ensure that the floor is clean at all times. Other than that, it's a good venue. Keep up the good work.
