If you want a really authentic Aussie wine experience, then look no further than Wolseley wines. We turned up by chance, were met by Will the owner, had a great chat about his wine and the wine industry in general, and got to taste three fantastic wines. But more than anything you knew this was a proper working winery. No slick tourist experiences here. So if you’re in the area, then I highly recommend you visit. You’ll come away with a much better understanding of how really good wine is made.

Best wine I’ve found so far in Victoria. And the prices are great. If you prefer your wine pre-aged this is where you go. 2010 Cab Sauv yes please. 2012 Shiraz, I’ll take a bottle of that. If you like something for dessert, grab a bottle of the botrytis semillion. Will is passionate about his wine and it shows. Next time I’ll come check out one of the live shows on Sunday or stay at one of his AirBnBs.

Popped in as we saw the sign outside the winery so did a quick u turn on the way to the ocean road and then the owner pulled up next to us and said that they were closed ! They didn’t even hesitate and said they would give us a bottle anyway
