Woolworths Waurn Ponds (Geelong)

Don’t get me wrong, good store and generally staff are nice bar a couple. I’m going to sound dramatic but i promise you this happened tonight and has happened a couple times in the past with the same 2 staff members. I work from 10-9:30pm, by the time i get out of work it’s usually about 9:45. Every other night i dash to woolies and get in about 9:50ish. I understand you guys close at 10 but i’ve never over stayed my welcome and been present in the store at 10, never!! Tonight and previously i’ve heard the announcement that the store will he closing in 5 and 3minutes, which is great and i make an effort to hurry up and get out, however on multiple occasions within seconds (literally maybe 5) of hearing the announcement I am approached by staff saying we are “Hi we are closed” from two different people moments apart (exactly the same tone and words. Then they walk off… There are still 3 minutes left, I’ve grabbed my last item and I’m literally about to turn to the checkouts. It simply makes me feel like i am not a valued customer. I understand people want to get home but if your store is open until 10pm (which was previously 11pm) you stay open!! If it hits 10, then fair enough harass people to leave. If it’s not 10 yet, leave me alone (the announcement was enough). Please don’t let this take away from some of the individual who strive for excellent customer service. One bloke at the self checkouts stands out greatly. Glasses and beard. Always asks how my day is going or jokes, he has been a great pick-me-up on multiple occasions

This store never collects their trolleys, as pictured overflowing so much that it would affect traffic.

Every weekend, we are lucky to be served by our favourite Woolworths employee Otis. Otis is friendly, patient, polite, helpful and shows interest in us, often asking about our week and listening with enthusiasm. He takes pride in packing our groceries, zips up our bags and gently places our bags in our trolley. Otis deserves to be recognised as an awesome person and a hard working employee. Thank you for being you Otis.

Grocery pick up in poorly marked carport area. Staff are fabulous but feel sorry for them wheeling the trolleys out from the store that has no road front

Very friendly & helpful but some works chat to much instead of doing their job, & some really overseas really smell
