Mercedes-Benz Geelong

I have purchased a car around 2 years ago for my daughter and got it insured with Mercedes insurance due to having trust in the company, we also, did not have time to receive other quotes from insurance company’s. As they pushed us to collect the car without considering our private schedules. In this situation we asked them to insure the car for my teenage daughter, now she has been in an accident and we have now found out that they do not cover her. Of course you would say that you have sent us a quotation but because we trusted the Mercedes so much and you knew it was for a teenager. To Just show us a lower quotation Darren made it so it only covered over the age of 30 years old. Shame on you. Do not think about your commission. This is people’s lives. I have still not collected my second key for my second Mercedes bought from Geelong, due to the trust we had in you guys so much. All my 3 Mercedes have been serviced by Geelong and have had no problem until Darren put us in an extremely difficult situation. Please do not trust Mercedes Geelong to insure your car. I will not come back to buy my next car. Merely due to one persons selfishness. Furthermore, when servicing one of my other cars I had met Darren and then asked a good price for a SUV that I liked. He was not very pleasant which is why we went to Ange who was extremely nice and pleasant.

Had a real positive experience purchasing from MB Geelong. Tom K genuinely knows cars and wasn’t pushy at all. A salesman such as Tom is a breath of fresh air and MB Geelong are lucky to have him selling cars. We drove out and back to Melbourne really happy, but my daughter was even happier! Thanks again Tom for looking after us.

I had a fantastic experience with MB Geelong. The staff were very professional and helpful with my new vehicle purchase. I would like to personally thank Michael for his efforts, they were unmatched and he really went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect from start to finish. Thank you again !

While the guy who drove me back to my destination was absolutely lovely, I was disappointed with Geelong Mercedes serving. I explained the windscreen wipers were overreaching on the drivers side, hitting the edge of the car causing a banging sound and was dismissed. I was told I needed new windscreen wipers. Okay, fair enough I thought. Mentioned a few other concerns and was told “Never heard of that before” and again felt dismissed. Then I was told because my car was booked in at lunchtime (12:45pm), I had to wait until lunch was over to get a lift. Fair, I thought. A staff member made me a cup of tea but never engaged in any conversation. Other staff members passed by but didn’t say hello and avoided eye contact. My impression, snobby. Then I was told it would be good if I could find my own way back to pick up my car because it would help staff prioritise others. When I returned to pick up my car another staff member was a bit more friendly. He offered me a bottle of water which was appreciated. Then it was downhill again, told they don’t deal with lease car companies, so I had to pay the bill in full myself and claim it back. While I can do that, it’s another process /inconvenience for me, which this business could easily handle to improve its customer experience. It would also help it to build solid stakeholder relationships with these car lease companies, which would bring about more business. Overall, I think the staff member I dealt with initially and your showroom staff could do with some further customer service training. I didn’t feel welcome at all. Also, my windscreen wipers were supposedly changed but I still have the same issue. In future, I’ll be going elsewhere.
