Excellent location, heartwarming host and a homely overall feel. 101% in all aspects. We came as a guest and left as friends. Whenever I will ever be in Geelong or nearby, BVL is the place that I will always stay. ❤️

This is a great place to stay. It's a beautiful park-like setting on the banks of the Barwon. There is a park over the road with running trails and riverfront walks. It's very quiet and restful. There is a supermarket and shops 2 minutes drive away and from there you can drive down into town and the Westfield Mall... very close and convenient. The rooms are spacious, well equipped, and warm. Each bedroom had a heat pump and electric blanket. There seems to be great facilities for families. The proprietors are great... very helpful and friendly even when I thought I had broken the Nespresso!

We stayed at Barwon Valley Lodge for five nights recently and it was a fantastic place to stay when in Geelong. The unit was comfortable, had great amenities and was superbly clean and maintained. It was like a home away from home. The staff were also helpful and considerate. We enjoyed the quiet location, nicely spaced accommodation and grounds including a lovely pool area. We'd happily stay here next time we visit Geelong and would recommend this accommodation situated right by the Barwon River and park areas. It's a real gem.

We had a wonderful stay at Barwon Valley Lodge over the Labour day long weekend. The units are good size with full kitchen and comfortable furniture. The place had good quality amenities like clean heated pool and spa, bikes for whole family, tennis, foxtel, frisbee and a bonus EV charging!. Lot of other holiday parks charge for some amenities and are crowded which was not the case here. Location is quite good and the owners are very helpful. A great place to stay and we are definitely coming back.

26 family members just had the most wonderful Christmas at this gorgeous resort. Gracious and extremely helpful hosts, wonderful amenities, rooms that were spotless and fully equipped, a beautiful, clean pool and surrounds and a lovely gazebo where we celebrated our Christmas lunch. Stress free, fun and a lovely celebration of family together. We’ll be back. 👏👏👏👏👏 PS : one minor but helpful hint…maybe security screen doors on the front door for airflow??
