West Fyans Street Boat Ramp

I didn't know about this boat ramp, until we happened to paddle past it one day. Easy access for your car and trailer. Not too busy on the times we've used it (mostly weekends). This is the point where most rowers turn around, so you have the river for yourself if you paddle upstream. You can see a lot of wildlife: mostly birds, some brave fish, and the odd snake swimming by. We've found the best time to enjoy the river is late winter or early spring. Enjoy paddling!

Ideal place to walk the dog, ride a bike, paddle the dog or paddle boat...picnic tables.....&.shelter if get caught in rain...grass area to left of car park looking at river ...

Nice place to launch the Kayak to go exploring. Wonderfully scenic area of the Barwon River to explore and fish. There are no facilities but a decent car park and plenty of space to picnic area's on very well maintained grass area'

Handy place to launch a kayak or canoe. Carpark can fill early on weekends. Toilets, picnic table and water fountain as well as flat grass areas.

An absolute hidden gem. Great access to the river. Very popular dog swimming/ fishing/kayaking spot.
