A & J Seafoods at the Barwon Heads Airport is one of those hidden seafood outlets that locals - and visitors alike - quietly treasure. All kinds of seafood is available here. Always fresh, beautifully presented and if you’re going a long way, they package it with ice. The young man (we didn’t get his name) is an asset to the business. It’s the kind of place you keep coming back to because you know you won’t be disappointed.

This fresh seafood store is located next to the Barwon Heads airport. Popular fish was available in fridge. Fish was cleaned and ready to cook 🍳😋 The lady kindly offered us the large fresh fish from back and filled plenty of ice in the container for us😃

Wow! You told me they were fresh today - but these were some of the freshest Blue Swimmer Crabs I've ever had in Victoria - and at a very reasonable price! It's been ages since I've enjoyed the simple sweet flavour of steamed crab from half a dozen fresh ones. Just superb! Thanks again, and I'll be back for a more detailed look in your fridges and freezers as a proper purveyor of seafood - not that supermarket shit.

Staff very nice and cheerful. Excellent range of seafood and sauces.

I would give it a 5 star but the only complaint I have is that the mussels have too much water in the bag and they weigh it together with the mussels - so we are paying extra money for the water. Other than that the smoked salmon was on point and the mussels were so delicious, would definitely come by again to get more seafood
