Coles Waurn Ponds

Not sure why I gave this place five stars a few years ago, maybe it was better back then. I wouldn’t rate Coles that high now. Prices keep going up and they try to pass off regular prices as “specials.” It’s not a real discount, just sneaky marketing. But that’s more about Coles in general. As for Coles WP, the store is big, the layout is easy to follow, and self-checkout usually works well. The frustrating part is the constant restocking during shopping hours, aisles are often blocked by trolleys. If you're open at 7am, do the stocking earlier! Some staff also need to work on their attitude, no need to be overly friendly, but at least be respectful.

I placed an order to collect as I have recently fractured my spine. Penny was so helpful. She packed my groceries into bags for me . She showed genuine concern and practicality, offering to reduce the weight of each bag. All was done with a smile. She is a credit to the store. Thank you for your help.

Has everything one might need but their bakery section is understaffed. You have to walk around the store to find someone to get a loaf of bread sliced. Would be better if there's a dedicated person there given a lot of people hang around the area.

Walked past deli had buckets upon buckets Of prawns. Thought I just grab some bread and then get some prawns only to return and see seafood shelves empty and put away. Its now 710pm .I ask what happened to the pawns to be told sold out..Lies.... I complained to front desk told the deli still open. I explained the have already packed up seafood. Told they would raise it with management. Meanwhile no prawns for dinner...sick of people not being held accountable...

Very clean Coles. When comparing a Coles in Melbourne, coming to this one was like a breath of fresh air. Saying that, all the supermarkets outside of Melbourne are so clean and welcoming compared to the rubbish that is in Melbourne.
